Reflections on Appreciation

When teaching is your calling, your life’s work and mission, the children truly fill the need of being appreciated. That said, as a principal of a school filled with talented educators, I am always looking for ways to show our teachers how much we appreciate their dedication to the children that they work with every day. Treats in the lounge and small gifts in their cubbies are always a hit, but what every teacher truly appreciates is a special note of thanks, letting them know how much their commitment to the education and care of the children means to us.
What would you like to say to your child’s teacher? As we approach Teacher Appreciation Week, if you find a moment to write your child’s teacher a note of appreciation, I know that it would mean the world to them.
I want you to know how much the Brookridge Day School family appreciates our families. Without your dedication and commitment to parenting, we would not be able to accomplish our goals. We are privileged to be on this journey with you. We appreciate our families more than words can say!

Greetings to you Barb and the entire Brookridge team, past and present. We are so thankful to all of the wonderful teachers (you included!) and staff at Brookridge. Sending our daughter Katelyn to Brookridge is one of the best decisions we could have ever made for her. Here we are many, many years later and we still give thanks to all of you. The many lessons learned are still being put to good use. Wishing you all today and every day the very best. Brookridge Day School Rocks!!! Kathy G
