Brookridge Day School

TBSLogoMedallionSetting the Benchmark

Brookridge Day School has set the benchmark for private schools in Johnson County since 1968. As an accredited private school in Overland Park, Brookridge Day School is consistently ranked in the top 5% of all KS schools for excellence in reading and math.  In 2015-2016 BDS ranked as a “Top 50 Private Elementary School” Nationally.

It does not take long to realize that Brookridge Day School is a distinct community. We take the education of children to heart; embrace diversity and cherish our traditions. We never compromise our focus on the development of the whole child.

Committed to Early Childhood Development

We understand that children who are enrolled in quality schools score higher on cognitive tests. In addition to our strong academic program and our nurturing environment, our students are immersed in the arts, public speaking and performance.   A Brookridge student graduates with the life skills needed to succeed.

Brief History

Established 1968

Since 1968, BDS has been the choice of parents seeking to inspire and prepare their children with a vigorous academic program. Our founder, Dr. Carol Savage, envisioned a private school experience offering quality extended care for the children of working parents.  Our history is written every day as we continue to produce successful alumni, enthusiastic learners and a robust plan for the future.
