Our Kindergarten Program at Brookridge Day School in Overland Park, KS puts emphasis on reading, mathematics, writing, science and social studies. We utilize the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt reading and mathematics series to support our curriculum.

“Handwriting Without Tears” is a guide in our teaching as students learn to form letters and numbers. Kindergarteners also practice a variety of speaking and listening skills throughout the day.

Our academic program is coupled with special activities that promote social, emotional and physical growth. We believe that these activities help the development of the whole child.
