Our Kindergarten program in Overland Park, Kansas places a strong emphasis on reading, mathematics, writing, science, and social studies. We utilize the95% Core, and Envision a mathematics series to support and enrich our curriculum.

Throughout the day, kindergarteners build essential speaking, listening, and communication skills that support strong academic and social development.

Our program is further enriched by strong instruction in music, art, and Spanish, giving students meaningful opportunities to explore creativity, culture, and language. These experiences help build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

We also prioritize ample recess and outdoor play, recognizing the importance of movement, imagination, and time in nature for healthy development. In addition, students are encouraged to develop early leadership skills through classroom responsibilities, collaborative activities, and school-wide opportunities.

Music performances and special presentations throughout the year provide students with opportunities to build confidence, express themselves, and share their learning in a supportive and celebratory environment.
